Targi Kielce will run a plastics show in the Ukraine in NovemberTargi Kielce, which organises an annual plastics trade fair in its native Poland, has set its sights further east.
The company is to run a version of its Plastpol exhibition in the Ukraine later this year. The show, called Plastukraina, will be held at the International Exhibition Centre in Kiev, on 23-25 November. The organiser says that increased trading between the two countries is one reason for running the show: in 2003, Ukraine overtook Russia as Poland’s largest export market. Plastics and rubber accounted for 11% of this total, or $171m (E140m). This is reflected in the analysis of foreign visitors to Plastpol: only Germany sent more people to the show than Ukraine.
