Pilot production will begin at its new technical centre in 2005Pilot production will begin at its new technical centre in 2005 Husky Injection Molding Systems will begin to produce injection moulding machines in China next year. “We have plans for pilot scale development of small machines in China,” said David Cook, president of Husky Europe. “It is to study feasibility rather than necessarily moving into production.” Cook estimates that the pilot production will begin within one year. The machines will be made at Husky’s new technical centre in Shanghai – which will also become the base for Husky’s hot runner production in Asia. Hot runners are currently made at a temporary facility, but full production at the technical centre is expected to be reached by September. The technical centre, which is currently 11,500 sq m in size, will be expanded to accommodate the machinery production. Source: PRW.com Previous news |
