The Swiss machinery manufacturer said it will set up a demonstration room with all Netstal products including a full PET moulding system. A centre for training, customer testing and application support will also be established. Netstal said the Chinese plastics market has enormous growth potential. A spokesman told PRW.com: “In relative figures we expect a growth in sales of 10-15% every year for PET and optical disc machines.” Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Netstal chief executive Bernhard Merki said the company’s the goal was to achieve a 30% share of the PET preform moulding machinery market, in which it currently holds a 20% share.
