A new hall measuring 9,000 sq metres will be built at the current facility, bringing the total floorspace up to 21,000 sq metres. It will be Perlos’ largest plant. Construction will begin this summer and first production use is expected during the first quarter of 2005. The investment includes the construction of a new painting line. “The incentive for the extension is the rise in demand for Perlos’ services in central Europe,” the company said, principally in the automotive and telecommunications sectors. Executive vice-president for business development Tage Johansson said injection moulding machines may be transferred from other Perlos sites and new machines could be purchased. The Komáron site employs "substantially more than 1,000 workers" in design, moulding, module manufacture and logistics. Source: PRW.com Previous news |
