Krafit and Areton in share swap deal

Krafit Industries of Israel has acquired a majority shareholding in Areton International Plastics Ltd., the UK-based manufacturer of technical compounds, flame retardant and additive masterbatches. Within the same deal, Areton International Plastics has acquired Constab Additive Polymers UK Ltd in a share swap arrangement.

Both companies now form part of the PlasTeam group of companies - an international masterbatch and compounding company based on Constab Polyolefin Additives GmbH and Krafit Industries 1993 Ltd. The PlasTeam group now has manufacturing facilities in three countries and says that it is now able to provide extensive research and development and technical service capabilities to target markets.

The new group says that it is now able to offer a one-stop shop solution for customers that include a wide range of carriers for different kinds of final applications. For example, the group can now provide colours for the first time in the UK market.
