The range currently extends from 55-tonnes to 180-tonnes; additional models to be brought in by 2005 will take the range to 350-tonnes. The five-point toggle E-Motion machine retains the company’s familiar tiebarless design, which has sold 19,000 units worldwide in the 14 years since its introduction. The all-electric version uses a double C-Frame version of the original concept. The company also introduced a hybrid version of the hitherto hydraulic Victory machine. The 60 to 120-tonne range will be covered initially, followed by 35/45 and 180/220 tonne models early next year. The theme of the event was Engel’s X Melt technology, used in conjunction with the electric machine types, whereby mould cavities are filled by expansion of the melt rather than by displacement by the screw. Other successes highlighted during the event were the arrival of two big MuCell microcellular-equipped Engel moulding machines in the UK. Source: PRW.com Previous news |
