The firm now has a total of 30 extrusion lines operating at its 42,100 sq metre site in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Last year it processed 27,000 tonnes of PVC. Commercial director Gareth Edwards said: “The extra space allows us to maintain our efficiency and quality standards, while carefully staying ahead of our continuing growth”. As well as the new Krauss-Maffei and Cincinnati extrusion lines, the spend includes six silos with a capacity to hold 580 tonnes of raw materials. Synseal was established as a window and door fabricator but installed its first extrusion line in 1992. Over the last four years the company has increased sales by an average of 31% year-on-year. One of its recent developments, the “Global” conservatory roof system for non-Synseal fabricators, has been a major driver for growth, the company said. Source: PRW.com Previous news |
