The distribution agreement with ISP enables Resin Express to substitute product from DowThe distribution agreement with ISP enables Resin Express to substitute product from Dow Resin Express has signed a distribution agreement on hot E-SBR with ISP, formerly Ameripol-Synpol, under its expanding synthetic rubber portfolio. The deal enables the company to substitute product from Dow, which will next month idle its plant for the material at Pernis in the Netherlands. Kris Brouwers, synthetic rubber product manager for Resin Express in Europe, said the UK is the largest market for product in Europe. He told PRW.com that Resin Express’s synthetic rubber business is growing strongly with rates of as much as 20% a year. The market is driven by demand from the adhesives sector. The company has also added NBR from Hyundai, extending its range of synthetic rubber from Dow and DSM, whose world-scale EPDM plant opened recently, and reprocessed grades from in-house firm UMAC-MidWest.
