The Middle East an Important Market for Plastics and Rubber Machines

In 2015 German exports of plastics and rubber machines to the six countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) reached a value of nearly 109 million Euro. Compared to the previous year, exports went down by 12.5 %.

The highest share in these shipments of 73 % is still held by Saudi Arabia. Ranking second in the list of most important destinations among the Gulf countries are the United Arab Emirates (19 %), followed by Qatar (3 %).
