Quality compressed air is essential in the plastics and rubber industries. All of the components within a compressed air system should operate as efficiently as possible: compressors, compressed air treatment and distribution systems. However it’s not just the efficiency of the individual components that counts; rather, true efficiency is measured at the system level. In other words, components don’t work in isolation, they’re part of a team - and a team is most effective when it is perfectly coordinated. In modern compressed air stations from Kaeser, this vital aspect is performed by the advanced Sigma Air Manager 4.0 (SAM 4.0) compressed air management system. This intelligent system automatically monitors operating conditions, together with current air demand, in order to coordinate operation of the connected system components. The result: a dependable supply of quality compressed air with maximum cost-effectiveness, reliability and availability. Moreover, the SAM 4.0 lays the foundation for ground-breaking future services, such as Predictive Maintenance. This revolutionary concept minimises service costs and improves value retention of the entire system.

The new CSD/CSDX series of rotary screw compressors feature Super Premium Efficiency IE4 motors, the most energy-efficient motors currently available. These motors are considerably more efficient than currently required by law and ensure a further energy cost saving of approximately one percent. With rated motor capacities between 45 and 90 kW, the five models of the two series cover flow rates from 8.3 to 16.1 m³/min (at 8.5 bar) and are configured for pressures up to 15 bar.

In addition, Kaeser’s energy-saving Secotec TF and TE series refrigeration dryers provide exceptionally efficient compressed air treatment. Built to the highest quality standards and designed for industrial duty, Secotec dryers are remarkably energy-efficient, ensure maximum reliability and incur minimal life-cycle costs (Total Cost of Ownership, TCO). With the innovative Secopack LS latent heat heat-exchanger system and the Sigma Control Smart controller, the new generation Secotec TE dryers set the new standard for energy efficiency, size requirement and user-friendliness.
