Gabriel-Chemie Italia s.r.l. situated in Fara Gera d´Adda (province of Bergamo, Lombardy) is well known worldwide for its high level of expertise in equipping stadium seats. Since its recent integration into the Austrian Gabriel-Chemie Group both companies have formed the newly founded "Mass Seating Solutions" competence centre.

Last year the Italian site won contracts to supply masterbatch for seating in the French stadiums of Lens, Lyon and Nice. This completed the already extensive reference list that included the stadiums in Lille, Saint Etienne and Marseille which will be hosting venues during the European Football Championship, beginning on 10th of June 2016. In total it is about 200.000 individual seats.

Visitors of European Championship games will not only sit comfortably, but also safely. The stadium seats are equipped with combination masterbatch containing colour, UV-light protection and flame retardant corresponding to the French class M2 standard.

Angelo Bottaro, Sales Manager of Gabriel-Chemie Italia is proud of the achieved success: „In June the European Football Championship will start in France and we are proud that 6 from 10 stadiums used during the championship feature seating equipped with our masterbatch“.

The strong leadership in the field of stadium seats is based upon specific know-how and masterbatch quality that is trusted by stadium operators and producers of stadium seats worldwide.

GABRIEL-CHEMIE specialises in refining and colouring plastics. The company was founded in 1950 and is now one of Europe's leading masterbatch manufacturers. The independent, privately owned group has its headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen in Austria, and operates further subsidiaries in Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Spain and Russia, where it employs approximately 550 people.
