Netstal to show superlative application expertise at NPE

Netstal will demonstrate the production of a 16 oz container on an EVOS 5500-2900 at NPE. The dishwasher-safe and microwaveable polypropylene container will be manufactured in a cycle time of approx. 5 seconds in a 4+4 cavity mold. This will provide an impressive demonstration of Netstal's excellent application expertise within the packaging sector. EVOS stands for efficient, high-performance injection molding and, thanks to its hybrid drive technology, for energy conservation. Its modular system design means that the clamping unit, plasticizing unit and drive can be selected and configured to meet specifically tailored application requirements. The division of the clamping and injection units into two separate machine modules also allows the manufacturing and assembly processes to be run in parallel.
