Dow to showcases its innovative and effective solutions for packaging industry at Interplastica 2015| Subj: Press-releses Dow’s Packaging and Specialty Plastics business are exhibiting again at Interplastica 2015, the international trade fair for plastics and rubber, in Hall 1 at Stand IC22 from 27th -30th January 2015. The team from Dow will be available to discuss the latest innovations, solutions, issues and trends in packaging and plastics, for customers in Russia and the wider regional market. Guests will be introduced to a variety of different topics at the Dow stand, and will be encouraged to listen in as the Dow specialists take them on a brief journey into the world of innovative packaging. The specialists will be delivering a series of PackTalks – short presentations designed to give customers and other interested parties, a brief glimpse into the innovative spirit of Dow and how the team can best inspire and work with customers in developing their packaging and plastics solutions. The PackTalks will explore the food packaging industry in Russia, and in particular some of the new cost efficient and exciting solutions for flexible packaging as well as looking at sealants and seal integrity. Their specialists will demonstrate key film requirements for cargo transportation and how stretch wrap resins deliver packaging effectiveness. Dow Adhesives’ business will focus on packaging, textile and non-woven adhesives, their broad portfolio and the market trends, opportunities and issues in Russia. Dow’s innovation center PackStudios, is also on the agenda, which is a capability available to customers and value chain partners to accelerate packaging application projects through a global network of labs, experts and testing. Finally PacXpert – otherwise known as the smart bottle, will depict the move away from traditional rigid to flexible packaging and how this uses less space, reduces waste and enhances convenience.
