Netstal boosts productivity and profitability in production

 |  Subj: Press-releses

At the Plastimagen trade fair in Mexico City (Centro Banamex, Booth 1414), an ELION 3200-2000 from Netstal produces polypropylene lids in a cycle time of approximately 3,6 seconds. Our experts show Mexican customers how their custom applications can achieve maximum output at lowest unit costs, and thereby maximum profitability.

Lid production at the Plastimagen 2014
Netstal produces polypropylene lids on the ELION 3200-2000 at the Plastimagen. Canadian company StackTeck assists as partner for the 4-cavity mold. The molded part is produced in a total cycle time of approximately 3,6 seconds. Cooling is provided by devices of the companies Eurochiller and Conair, Indelpro from Mexico supplies the materials and Clariant from Switzerland the masterbatch. "In this way we are offering our sophisticated Mexican clientele a quick and precise production solution that guarantees highest performance in combination with production reliability according to local requirements," said Patrick Bolliger, who took over as Netstal's sales manager in Mexico at the beginning of 2014.

Achieve maximum profitability with Netstal
With its presence at the Plastimagen, Netstal underscores its claim as general contractor that allows buyers to get a complete production system from a single source and one point of contact.

"The optimal interaction of all system components has a great impact on the reliability of the entire production system and therefore takes on great importance, especially with regard to achieving the lowest unit costs. That's why Netstal offers its customers in Mexico a comprehensive package of services that allows for planning, implementing and installing an entire turnkey production system," Bolliger explained. As general contractor, Netstal works with a network of experienced partners when implementing custom projects. "Depending on application and area of use, energy consumption can be reduced by up to 50 percent compared to regular hydraulic injection molding machines thanks to state of the art hydro-mechanical and servo-electrical drive components that our ELION and EVOS series use. The drive components are connected to a highly efficient central drive system, which is able to adapt the drive performance to the demand of the current production cycle at any time via a variable speed synchronous motor," Bolliger explained. "And, thanks to our innovative double valve technology, we are able to achieve injection performances of up to 2,200 mm/s, which reduces material usage and cycle times and ultimately increases productivity by up to 15 percent."
