NORRES extends application range of numerous CONNECT connections

In its year of 125 innovations, NORRES Schlauchtechnik presents the hose connections CONNECT 240 + 241, 242 MHF, 243 MHF, 244 MHF, 245 MHF as well as 246 MHF in a not coloured version especially for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Especially customers from the food and pharmaceutical industry value the expansion of the range of the pre-assembled hose system with the food-grade polyurethane hoses from the NORRES AIRDUC® series.

Technical hose systems for contact with foodstuff are subject to strict hygiene requirements. The product range of NORRES Schlauchtechnik for the food and pharmaceutical industries complies with various regulations and directives of the industry. Food safety is also ensured through a broad variety of products and safety-oriented advice. As of now, the CONNECT connections 240 + 241, 242 MHF, 243 MHF, 244 MHF, 245 MHF as well as 246 MHF supplement the range of food-grade hose systems in a not coloured version. The CONNECT connections have a not coloured wall which is food-grade according to EC directive 2002/72/EC including amendment directive 975/2009/EC and directive 10/2011. They are free of softener and halogen as well as microbe and hydrolysis resistant. They can be used in a temperature range of -40 °C to 90 °C, the CONNECT 240 + 241 as well as the connector CONNECT 246 MHF short-term even up to 125 °C. The CONNECT products have a smooth interior and feature excellent resistance to oil, gasoline and chemicals, UV and ozone. They are highly abrasion-proof and have a high tensile strength and tear resistance. In its pre-fitted version, the CONNECT connections 240 + 241, 242 MHF, 243 MHF, 244 MHF as well as 245 MHF are gas and liquid tight. Especially in combination with the food hoses of the AIRDUC® series 351 MHF, 355 MHF and 356 MHF, they are also available as a pre-assembled hose system and with customised connectors. With its CONNECT product expansion, NORRES provides not coloured connectors for a broad range of hose connections. The CONNECT 240 + 241 is a soft sleeve to slide onto connectors or push into pipes. The threaded adapter CONNECT 242 MHF has a thread based on DIN ISO 228. The rust-proof CONNECT 243 MHF is a flanged pipe and compatible with all popular ventilation piping systems, e.g. Jacobs standard. The CONNECT 244 MHF loose flange fits mating flanges according to DIN 2632/2633, hole pattern DIN 2501. TRI clamp adapters compatible with connectors according to DIN 32676 CONNECT 245 MHF are vibration resistant, odourless and tasteless as well as rust-proof. The spiral hose connector CONNECT 246 MHF for connecting, lengthening or repairing spiral hoses features a wall from special premium ether-polyurethane (Pre-PUR®), just as all other innovations of the CONNECT series.
