Scott Bader Increases Prices of its Manufactured Composites Range

Scott Bader Europe is announcing a price increase for its Crystic® range of unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, DCPD and all other manufactured composite products by 70 -100 €/te dependent on product type. This means that Adhesives will be up 1.5-3% and Crestapols will be up 150€/te minimum. Price increases on other product lines will remain unchanged.

Please note that the price increase will be implemented by 1st August 2014 at the latest, subject to existing customer contracts. “A combination of various raw materials being in short supply and oil price increases have resulted in traders and manufacturers pushing up rates over spring and summer months. We cannot continue to absorb these significant costs and regrettably have no choice but to implement this price increase.” commented Michel Toeroek, European Sales Manager for Scott Bader Composites Europe.
