Salavatnefteorgsyntes has made first production from a styrene complex

October, 30 on Salavatnefteorgsyntes is completed construction of a complex on manufacture ethylenebenzene and styrene by capacity of 200 thousand tons per year.

November, 5 on new manufacture ethylenebenzene and styrene is received first production of concentration of 99,94 percents, adequate to the highest standards of world quality. Realization of this project has allowed the enterprise not only to expand assortment of a commodity output, but also to create an opportunity for reconstruction of own manufacture polystyrene production.

The total cost of the project has made about 170 million USD. For financing a finishing part of the project by the enterprise in February, 2003 was placed the bonded loan at a rate of 1 million USD.
