The group is to distribute Mitsubishi Engineering Polymer's new range of acetal copolymersThe group is to distribute Mitsubishi Engineering Polymer's new range of acetal copolymers Plastribution has added further Japanese-made technical polymers to the portfolio that it distributes to the UK market, according to managing director Mike Boswell. The Ashby-de-la-Zouch based firm, which won the Polymer Distributor or Compounder of the Year in this year’s Plastics Industry Awards, is now handling a range of acetal copolymers from Mitsubishi Engineering Polymers under the Iupital V series. The products are claimed to have several benefits over conventional acetal copolymers including integral hinge properties, low noise in gear applications and higher impact resistance than standard grades in some cases. Plastribution is also extending its family of materials from Japanese clear material specialist Denka Polymers, with transparent ABS, SBC copolymers and MS/SMMA, which can make cost savings compared with PMMA. Boswell said the firm is now planning a move into TPVs, which can be coloured using conventional masterbatch. Source: PRW.com Previous news |
