WITTMANN BATTENFELD with state-of-the-art injection molding technology at the Interplastica in Moscow| Subj: Press-releses ![]() With the positive development of the Russian market in view, WITTMANN BATTENFELD will present two high-tech exhibits at this year’s Interplastica, together with latest process and application technology. Firstly, a machine from the all-electric EcoPower series will be on display. It is an EcoPower 110/350, equipped with a W821 robot from WITTMANN. The functionality of this machine will be demonstrated by the production of TPE cell phone cases with a single-cavity mold supplied by Hasco, Austria. The machines of the EcoPower series stand out primarily by their high degree of energy efficiency, precision, cleanness and process reliability. The deceleration energy of the drive systems, which is normally returned to the power supply network by an elaborate process, is used by the EcoPower entirely within the machine to provide the control system with the necessary voltage, and for barrel heating. WITTMANN BATTENFELD will also have a vertical rotary table machine with 110 tons clamping force on display at the Interplastica. The functionality of this machine, a VM 110/350 R1280 model, will be demonstrated by producing a screwdriver made of PP. The machine is equipped with an easily accessible automation cell for insert technology and parts removal. It also features a ServoPower drive with a twin pump. This enables short cycle times through time-saving parallel movements, extremely high precision and energy-efficient operation. The machine also comes with a servo-electric rotary table drive, which provides rotation movements at the maximum speed possible with coordinated acceleration ramps, so that the inserts are placed in position quickly and safely at any time. In addition to the robots and peripheral equipment integrated in the injection molding machines, WITTMANN BATTENFELD will present a broad range of robots and peripheral equipment as stand-alone solutions at the Interplastica 2014. The appliances on display will be a DRYMAX Aton F120-300 segmented wheel dryer, a DOSIMAX MC 18 dosing unit, TEMPRO primus C90 and TEMPRO primus C140 temperature controllers, and a TEMPRO basic C90 as well. Moreover, a granulator from the MINOR 2 series, a FEEDMAX S3 conveying unit and a selection of flow controllers will also be showcased. Source: WITTMANN BATTENFELD Previous news |
