Niznekamskneftehim plans 2006 to begin in May - June manufacture of polypropylene. Construction of the twelfth factory under the account in structure of group Niznekamskneftehim with annual capacity of 120 thousand tons of polypropylene should begin in November of the current year.

Let's remind, that in July Niznekamskneftehim and Italian companies Tecnimont and Basell have entered into the agreement on construction in Nizhnekamsk of a factory of polypropylene. Now Niznekamskneftehim makes annually 200 thousand tons of the propylene being raw material for polypropylene, 120 thousand tons from them go on sale. The long-term program of development Niznekamskneftehim is focused on release of more expensive polymeric production and deep - up to 75-80 % - processing of petroleum raw material.
