AkzoNobel introduces easy to use high concentrate of its Armostat® 1800 antistatic additive

AkzoNobel is proud to present Armostat 1800®-XP75, an easy to use high concentrate of its vegetable based Armostat® 1800 antistatic additive. With the introduction of Armostat® 1800-XP75 the company responds to market needs for cost effective, vegetable based antistatic additives for PP film and rigid packaging applications.

Armostat® 1800 is an alternative to typical animal-based antistatic additives used. Armostat® 1800-XP75 contains 75% Armostat® 1800 on polypropylene. The free flowing granules can easily be dosed to the extruder without any investments needed. “Armostat® 1800-XP75 perfectly fits our portfolio of high performance concentrates and specialty additives,” says Haimo Tonnaer, Business Development Manager for AkzoNobel’s Polymer Additives business. “This cost effective high concentrate allows for easy handling and dosing while offering all the advantages of pure Armostat® 1800.” AkzoNobel’s Armostat® is the benchmark in antistatic additives.
