Omya opens a new calcium carbonate production facility for Russia

Omya announces the opening of the first calcium carbonate plant in Russia pro-ducing fine and treated calcium carbonate in the Moscow area. From early 2014, we will be able to supply the plastics industry with our Omyacarb® and Omyafilm® brands manufactured on state of the art equipment to meet growing demand for locally produced fine and treated calcium carbonate.
