Netstal: Successful presentation of the ELION 3200 at Feiplastic 2013

 |  Subj: Press-releses

Netstal's experience at the Feiplastic trade fair in São Paulo was a thoroughly positive one. The ELION 3200 with hybrid drive concept was presented at its stand for the first time in South America and was met with strong demand from customers. The machine, which was launched in autumn 2012, was used to produce bottle caps in a highly efficient cycle time of 4.2 seconds.

Manufacturers of bulk commodities such as bottle caps are under continuous pressure to reduce manufacturing costs. Continuous improvements being made to both process and machine mean that Netstal is satisfying the increasing demand from South American customers for material savings, process efficiency and greater cost-effectiveness in production. "We are pleased to be able to offer a high-quality solution in the form of the ELION 3200 to our customers in this market," said Italo Zavaglia, sales manager for the Netstal brand in Brazil. "The presentation of this highly efficient machine at Feiplastic 2013 was a complete success, with trade fair visitors and customers alike impressed by the quality of the machine. We are delighted that CristalPet do Brasil decided to buy the exhibit, because the machine is brilliantly suited to its requirements." During Feiplastic, Netstal produced the PCO 1881 bottle cap on the ELION 3200. Equipped with the latest electric clamping unit with energy recovery and the new aXos control unit, which boasts an improved control panel and many new applications, the bottle caps were produced in a cycle of 4.2 seconds with a 72-cavity mold made by Austrian company z-mold. The caps were cooled by a lift cooler that came courtesy of Eisbär, likewise based in Austria.
