iPlast starts up the production of plastic pallet layer pads for beverage industry

In April 2013 as part of its product expansion strategy «iPlast» (Russia; www.iplast.com ) has started production of reusable plastic layer pads. This has become possible as a result the Company’s acquisition of the polymeric sheet beading line. The new product is manufactured with rounded corners and the edges sealed along the perimeter.

Made of polypropylene, the pad bears a number of incontestable advantages compared to the similar product of corrugated cardboard. It is solid, durable, and hygienic and can be employed for several times. It can be washed both manually and in specialized cleaning systems. The pad is weather-proof to be used in outdoor storage area.

The major consumers of the layer pad are producers of glass containers as well as beer and beverage industry. The latter use this pad in the packaging of empty bottles for their own beverage filling lines. The pad is made in two typical sizes: 1200 x 1000 mm and 1200 x 800 mm.
