Sibur-Neftehem renewed negotiations with company Technimont and Basell about construction of a polythene of high density PE-HD factory

Sibur-Neftehem (Nizhni Novgorod) has renewed negotiations with Italian company Technimont and Swiss Basell (the joint venture of concerns BASF and Shell) about construction of a polythene of high density PE-HD factory in city of Kstovo (the Nizhniy Novgorod region). General director Sibur-Neftehem Peter Krupnov has informed about it.

As he said, up to third of volume of manufacture will fall to polythene for gas pipes under the order of Gazprom, packing polythene and constructional polythene. It was earlier planned to construct a similar factory in 2005-2006 Sibur-Neftehem and Technimont in September, 2001 have concluded the contract on construction). However because of the beginning of procedure of bankruptcy in Sibur and in Sibur-Neftehem realization of the project was suspended.
