UOP Sinco will establish on Polyef the equipment for manufacture PET by 120 thousand tons per year

In the beginning of October on Polyef has signed the contract with american company UOP Sinco about preparation of the base project for construction of installation PET polymerizations.

Construction of this installation is a part of strategic plan of Polyef on development of polyester manufactures in Russia. The first part of the given project - start-up of manufacture acids of terephthalate is in a stage of end. The following step will allow the enterprise to expand assortment of let out production on builded manufacture of polyethyleneterephthalate.

UOP Sinco will put on Polyef installation by capacity of 120 thousand tons PET per one year. Also the contract stipulates installation of additional units on two lines of polymerization in fluid by capacity on 60 thousand tons per one year everyone and maintenance of common manufacture PET with a modern automatic control system. The total cost of the project makes approximately nine millions euro, term of realization - 12 months.
