Momentive expands Korean Technology Center

Momentive Performance Materials Inc. (MPM) announces today an expansion of its current technology center in Seoul, Korea, creating a global innovation center focused on the electronics industry. The expanded innovation center will combine existing technical labs with application development, research and development (R&D), testing and manufacturing operations.

The expanded Korea Technology Center (KTC) will be devoted to developing materials and solutions for display, light-emitting diode (LED) and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) applications. The center will strengthen MPM’s existing presence in the region and is expected to be complete in June 2013. Based in the Gasan Digital Complex, the center will be over 1500 square meters.
