The Gabriel-Chemie Group is planning to expand its production capacities by building a new production plant in Russia. By the end of this year, investments will be made in the building of the new production plant in the “Special economic industrial zone Alabuga“. A production hall, a laboratory and a warehouse will be built on an area of 5 hectares in various construction phases. In the first phase, the production capacity will be 4,000 tons of masterbatches per year; this will rise to 14,000 tons in the final phase. Colour masterbatches (incl. black and white masterbatches) and additive masterbatches will be produced. The economic and industrial zone Alabuga, positioned in one of the largest industrial areas, offers the Gabriel-Chemie Group an optimal on-site infrastructure and therefore also the possibility of reacting to customer inquiries more flexibly and faster.

“With the planned expansion of capacities, we are able to meet the growing requirements of the Russian plastics industry and are at the same time able to strengthen our position as a manufacturer of masterbatches in the Russian market“, says Mr. DI Rodolfo Santa Olalla, CEO of the Gabriel-Chemie Group.

The planned investments also mean that new jobs will be created if business continues to develop well. But investments will also be made in personnel development. Training courses, for example, take place at the various production plants of the group in order to meet the high customer requirements in future, too.

The rapid production, the laboratories, the warehouse and the sale office OOO GabrielChemie RUS2 will remain in the Moscow area. There will also be no changes in customer service – it will stay at the usual superior level.
