Teknor Apex appoints Steven Dunn as european sales and marketing director for engineering thermoplastics

Steven Dunn has joined Teknor Apex UK Ltd. as European sales and marketing director for engineering thermoplastic (ETP) compounds, the company announced today.

Products available from the Engineering Plastics Division of Teknor Apex include the Beetle® range of polyamide, PBT, and PET compounds used in a wide variety of consumer and industrial applications, and the Chemlon® line of polyamide compounds for automotive.

“Steve brings a wealth of plastics compounding sales experience as well as a strong technical background,” said Mark Clayton, Oldbury plant director. “It is a combination that will prove valuable in helping customers take advantage of our newly expanded ETP product portfolio.”

Steven Dunn entered the plastics industry 17 years ago when he joined AlphaGary Corp. After holding technical responsibilities in product development and R&D, he moved into sales and marketing roles. Most recently he was AlphaGary’s European sales manager. He holds a BSc degree (honors) in material science from Coventry University in the UK.
