AkzoNobel increases prices for organic peroxides

Effective Quarter 1 2013, or as contracts allow, AkzoNobel Functional Chemicals increases by 10% the prices for several lines of organic peroxides, azo initiators, as wel as cobalt and amine accelerators.

Products affected -as neat or formulated on a wide range of solvents or carriers- will be:
- Perkadox 14, Perkadox 16, Perkadox BC, Perkadox AIBN, Perkadox AMBN
- Trigonox 29, Trigonox 17, Trigonox K, Trigonox T
- Laurox, Cyclonox
- Cobalt and amine accelerators

This increase -effective for all customers in Europe, the Middle-East and Africa- is necessary to offset the rising cost of raw materials, energy, transportation as well as EHSE and regulatory compliance.
