Dalian Shide Plastic Industry will now have 352 machines

Cincinnati Extrusion has received an order for 165 extruders, the largest order in its history.

The machines will bring the total number of extruders used in PVC profile production by China’s Dalian Shide Plastic Industry up to 352, Cincinnati Extrusion claims. The extruders will be delivered to Shide’s facilities in Dalian and Chengdu and to a new site in Shanghai.

The machines include 126 conical and parallel twin-screw extruders, plus 39 CE single-screw extruders. The single-screw extruders will be installed as co-extruders on 39 new co-extrusion lines to manufacture coloured window profiles.

Cincinnati Extrusion says it is confident that the expansion of window profile capability in China has not yet come to an end.
