HELM AG will service Jushi´s European Key Accounts in Thermoplastics in cooperation with Dr. Michael Effing (AMAC)

HELM AG is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Effing (AMAC) to advise, promote and further develop the introduction and distribution of Jushi Group´s thermoplastic glass fiber business to the European market. The cooperation is focused on following territories: Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Benelux. As of December 1st 2012, Michael Effing, who just launched his own company, AMAC, in October, will thus act as advisor and share his expertise in the complete thermoplastic product portfolio (Chopped Strands and LFT roving).

As announced earlier, in the context of the extension of Jushi´s presence in Europe, the worldwide leading Chinese glass fiber producer is to open a new production plant in Northern Egypt within 2013. The plant with a total planned capacity of 200,000 tons (start in phase 1 with 80,000 tons in 2013) aims to serve as strategic facility to intensify Jushi´s export business to Europe, as well as Middle East and India. In this plant, Jushi will produce the full range of chopped strands and LFT roving thermoplastics, exclusively developed for and dedicated to the European Market. This plant is Jushi´s first investment outside of China, as well as the first step for the globalization of the market leader.

HELM AG, one of the world's major independent chemicals marketing enterprises with branches and sales offices in more than 30 countries, has been the exclusive distributor for Jushi in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for many years. With immediate effect, HELM will also be Jushi’s distributor for large global and regional accounts in thermoplastic chopped strands and LFT rovings in Benelux. Ekkehard Kloevekorn, Senior Executive of the HELM Fiberglass business, comments: „We are very enthusiastic about the further growth of Jushi´s business in Europe.
