Styron Announces Price Increases for Polystyrene in Europe| Subj: Press-releses Styron Europe GmbH and its affiliate companies in Europe announced today price increases for all polystyrene (PS) grades. These price increases will enable Styron to continue current levels of production and investment in its polystyrene business. Effective immediately, or as existing contract terms allow, the November contract and spot prices for the products listed below will increase as follows in order to recover margins due to volatility of raw material costs: STYRON™ general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by 25 Euro per metric ton STYRON™ and STYRON A-TECH™ high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by 25 Euro per metric ton Styron is a leading global materials company and manufacturer of plastics, latex and rubber, dedicated to collaborating with customers to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
