Chemtura Announces Polyester Polyols Price Increase

Chemtura Corporation (NYSE: CHMT) announces today that effective Sept. 1, 2012, or as contracts allow, it will increase prices up to 6 percent for its polyester polyols, including FOMREZ® products, globally. This price increase is necessary given the continued escalation of raw material costs.

Chemtura Corporation, with 2011 sales of $3.0 billion, is a global manufacturer and marketer of specialty chemicals, agrochemicals and pool, spa and home care products.
