Saudi Industrial Investment Group announces the startup of its subsidiary Petrochem Project

Saudi Industrial Investment Group announce the startup of its subsidiary National Petrochemical Company’s project, the Saudi Polymers Company, which is being built in Al-Jubail industrial city, and owned 65% by Petrochem and 35% by Arabian Chevron Phillips Petrochemical Company Limited.

The project is built on a total land area of 1.1 million square meters, and will be producing the following products: (1,165 kmta) of Ethylene, (1,100 kmta) Polyethylene (HDPE and LDLPE), (400 kmta) Polypropylene, (430 kmta) Propylene, (200 kmta) Polystyrene, and (100 kmta) 1-Hexene.
The company will announce once production levels have stabilized.
Petrochem owned 50% by SIIG and 50% by the public.
