BASF raises global prices for isophorone diamine

BASF is raising global its prices for isophorone diamine (IPDA) by ˆ150 per metric ton, or by the corresponding amount in local currency, effective immediately or as existing contracts permit.

The IPDA specialty amine is valued as a curing agent for epoxy resins and as an isocyanate crosslinking agent for the production of polyurethane. BASF manufactures IPDA at its Ludwigshafen Verbund site and is a leading supplier of this product.
