Top Teh d.o.o. for the first time at the Sajam Tehnike 2012 trade fair

At the Sajam Tehnike trade fair from 14 to 18 May 2012 in Belgrad the Slovenian based representative of the German-Japanese company Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery GmbH will present the high performance, precision and repeatability of their all-electric machine IntElect smart for installation frames live in Hall1 Stand № 1122

At the Sajam Tehnike 2012 trade fair an IntElect 100-340 with 1,000 kN clamping force will produce installation frames made of PC-ABS 10% FG in a cycle time of 14 seconds. The 45 gramme moulded components and with shot weight of 58 gramme sets high quality requirements and demand absolute repeatability. The IntElect with its precise and sensitive drives fulfils the special requirements for zero defects production. Seemingly simple part is challenging in many ways, being a combination of thick/thin wall part with many details as aesthetic aspects on top of dimensional stability and repeatability.

The production cell is supported by numerous partners. Highly flexible and easy to programme robot from Wemo fitted with Fipa end of arm tooling. Dryer with recird low energy consumption and process stability and material handling equipment are made available by Plastic Systems S.p.A. Frigel Firenze S.p.A provided process cooling equipment with high flow rate and 0.1°C servo proportional temperature regulation to ensure short cycles and high process stability.

The injection moulded parts are removed using a Wemo 8-5 linear robot. After separation from the moulds, the specially made modular end of arm tooling system places the modular frame on a conveyor belt.

A large contribution to the cell’s production efficiency is achieved using active programmable logic arrays in the electric IntElect injection moulding machine. By means of “activeDynamics“, short sampling times are achieved and even complicated injection profiles in the ms-region are unerringly compensated for. The switchable non-return valve “activeLock“, eliminates the influence of the non-return valve switching cycle and almost eliminates variations in shot weight. For melt pressure equalisation the new function ”activeFlowBalance“, achieves a balanced filling behaviour in the case of multi-mould tools. In the context of the function ”activeEcon“, for each individual shot for all machine movements a detailed energy use analysis and optimisation step is carried out. Generally, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag offers a large selection totalling thirteen options leading to an increase in production efficiency.

The injection moulding machine manufacturer (SHI) Demag, Schwaig/Germany, has been represented in Slovenia since the beginning of i 2009 by Top Teh d.o.o. The company Top The, based in Skofljica, has over many years acquired an outstanding reputation in the field of technical services and offers, as well as marketing, a comprehensive range of service and maintenance activities.

Thus in the meantime Sumitomo (SHI) Demag achieved a market share of around twenty-five percent and in so doing took a large step in the direction of becoming market leader in Slovenia.
With the strong base in Slovenia since the beginning of 2012, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag and Top Teh have expanded their marketing activities across the entire area of former Yugoslavia, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia (FYROM).
