Nizhnekamskneftekhim: Start of large-sized equipment installation at the ABS Plant

Installation of large-sized equipment has been started at OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim ABS Plant which is under construction now. One of the two devolatilizers has been installed on the steel structure; the first silo (blender) for the final product is on the foundation, second is in the assembled condition, and soon it will also take place on the basement. One of the four polymerization reactors has been taken to the equipment storage base, the second will arrive shortly, after which both will be mounted on steel structure.

To date, about 12% of process equipment and about a third of pipelines have been installed. Simultaneously, installation of electrical control cabinets, power sub-stations, laying of lighting network are being performed.
Every day up to 300 workers and installers are involved on a construction site.
