Ticona Increases Prices Globally for POM

Ticona, the engineering polymers business of Celanese Corporation, today announced it is raising prices globally for acetal copolymer (POM) products effective with all shipments beginning April 15, 2012, or as contracts allow:

-North America and South America: $0.10 per pound, and higher for specialty grades;
-Europe, Middle East and Africa: €0.20 per kilogram, and higher for specialty grades;
-Asia-Pacific Region: USD $0.20 per kilogram, and higher for specialty grades.
