EcoTechnologies-Alabuga - processing of the worn out tires into rubber crumb

EcoTechnologies, with the support of the Strategic Initiatives Agency, will develop a production processing of worn out tires into rubber crumb. Production will be located in the SEZ "Alabuga". To develop the project as a raw material the company will use worn out tires and rubber goods of the Republic of Tatarstan (20 to 25 tons).

The processing will give life to new kinds of products such as rubber crumb, metal cord, textile fabrics, widely used in manufacturing of tires, railroad sleepers and crossings, floor mats, tennis courts and playground covers, shoe soles, sound-insulation materials, lawns for artificial football fields, asphalt modifiers for asphalt coatings and many others.

The production capacity will enable annually to process 23,500 tons of raw materials (tires). Total investment volume is 403 million rubles. The company will create 39 new jobs.
