New dedusting system HELIOClean®

At the FAKUMA 2011 HELIOS will present a double-stage dedusting system being a component of compressed air hopper loader. The single-stage dedusting system, which is being on the market for 3 years, is again essentially upgraded delivering virtually 100% dedusted granulate/regrind into the dryer containers or directly to the injection machine feeding zone.

HELIOClean® is a compressed air based hopper loader of stainless steel at the core containing a lockable dedusting case. Small granulate/ regrind lots of 100-200 gr are conveyed into this element by means of Venturi type suction lance and whirled by 1-9 air pulses. The dedusting case is connected to an external dust bin and the dedusting air together with the dust content is led to this bin. The granulate/regrind will remain in the dedusting case with the help of filter disc until the dedusting period lapsed and then be led to the dryer container or storage bin by means of enforced discharge valve.

The first stage pre-dedusting is made when conveying material into the dedusting element and then the second stage in the dedusting case by means of repeated loadings of conveying lot by air pulses that followed.

HELIOClean® is available as 1- or 2-components hopper loader. The mixing ratio of virgin material and regrind for the 2-components hopper loader type can be infinitely adjusted between 20 and 80%. The dedusting ratio can be regulated by means of number and period of the air pulses. An additional ionisation device is scheduled to degrade electrostatic charging while conveying.
