Interplastics: price increase for CoREZYN® brand vinyl ester resins

<em>Peter Surmak, Business Manager Vinyl Ester &amp; Engineered Resins, announced today that Interplastic Corporations Thermoset Resins Division is raising the price of CoREZYN brand vinyl ester products $0.08 per pound for all shipments on or after June 11, 2011. This includes all versions of vinyl ester, modified vinyl ester and VE barrier coat products.<br></em><br>"Upward pressure on several raw materials, particularly those impacting epoxy, TBBA and GMAA, has not abated this month," explains Surmak. "We are working closely with all our suppliers, and greatly appreciate the continuing support of our customers as we do everything we can to mitigate these increases."<br><br>Interplastics Thermoset Resins Division is the manufacturer of CoREZYN and Silmar brand unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, specialty resins, gel coats, and colorants for the cast polymer, solid surface and composites industries.
