Nizhnekamskneftekhim : completion of works under the program of MTBE production increase

During the overhaul at the isoprene monomer plant of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim the works have been completed for revamping of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) production unit in order to expand its capacity.

As a result, the original plant capacity has been exceeded by nearly 38%. Innovations implemented by the plant workers will not only enable the increase of MTBE, that is one of the high-octane oxygen-containing components, but will also improve performance indicators.
