Interplastic : price increase for CoREZYN® and Silmar® products

<p style="font-style:italic">Steve Wetzel, National Sales Manager, and Daryl Francis, Business Manager West, announced today that Interplastic Corporations Thermoset Resins Division is raising the price of CoREZYN and Silmar brand polyester and vinyl ester resins, gel coats, colorants and putties $0.08 per pound. This increase will take effect on all shipments on or after May 14, 2011.</p><p>Raw material prices, freight rates and energy costs continue to escalate at an alarming rate with no end in sight. Coupled with tight supplies of some key materials, this continues to drive up costs, therefore requiring another price announcement. We understand the impact on our customers and will do everything we can to hold the increase to a minimum. In addition, Interplastic will take the necessary steps to ensure a consistent and reliable source of all materials to our customer base.</p><p>Interplastics Thermoset Resins Division is the manufacturer of CoREZYN and Silmar brand unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, specialty resins, gel coats, and colorants for the cast polymer and composites industries.
