Negri Bossi becomes part of the Sacmi Group

Over the last five months, the financial and industrial structure of the Italian press manufacturer, Negri Bossi, has profoundly changed
Last autumn, at K'2001, it announced its listing on the Stock Market and then the Oima acquisition, which was followed, a few days later, by news of it becoming part of the Milanese group Sacmi, a multi-national colossus based in Imola in the Emilia Romagna region, which operates in the packaging and ceramics sectors.
The acquisition has the precise strategic purpose of integrating the supply chain of Sacmi in the packaging sector. In fact, the only thing that the group was missing was injection moulding technology for the production of PET preforms.
