Bridgestone to launch Polish solar investment| Subj: Press-releses Bridgestone Diversified Products Poland has said it will build a new production plant in Żary, Lubusz voivodship, Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone's Invest-Park wrote on its website. The new factory will manufacture solar EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) foils used in the production of solar panels. Bridgestone has said it will invest at least zl.130 million and provide workplaces for 67 new employees, a WSEZ spokesperson told gazeta prawna.pl. According to Invest-Park, the company will complete the investment by the end of 2013. EVA foils produced by Bridgestone are currently manufactured in the Seki Plant and the Iwata Plant, both of which are situated in Japan. The new plant in Żary will be the third of Bridgestone's assets which specializes in foil production and is likely to become the leading supplier of EVA foils on the European market, gazeta prawna.pl. writes.
