Cristal Global announces TiO2 price increases

Cristal Global (Cristal) announced that it will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold globally, effective January 1, 2011, or as contracts allow.

In North America:  Prices for all Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by US ten cents per pound.  An additional premium of US two cents per pound will be applied to all Tiona® 188 product sales within North America.  For Tiona® 188 product sales to export markets, a premium of US $50 per metric ton will be applied to product sold to USD export markets and €50 per metric ton to product sold to Euro export markets outside of North America.

In Latin America:  Prices for all Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by US $200 per metric ton.

In Eastern and Western Europe, including Turkey:  Prices for all Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) will increase by €150 per metric ton and in Russia and CIS region by US $200 per metric ton.

In the Middle East and Africa:  Prices for all Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by US $200 per metric ton and in North Africa by €150 per metric ton.

In Asia Pacific:  Prices for all Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by US $200 per metric ton.  In Australia, prices for all Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by Australian $200 per metric ton.
