Albemarle to increase prices of Saytex brominated flame retardants

Albemarle Corporation announced that it will increase the base price of SAYTEX(R) BT-93W and SAYTEX(R) BT-93 (ethylenebistetrabromophthalimide) by 25% on all global shipments on or after January 1, 2011, or as contracts allow.

Albemarle's brominated flame retardants are part of the company's fire safety solutions within the polymer solutions business segment.
