Total Petrochemicals presents its new polystyrene range for refrigeration

Total Petrochemicals will present its global range of polystyrenes for the refrigeration sector at the Kunststoff 2010 trade show in Düsseldorf (Germany) from October 27 to November 3. The Total Petrochemicals product range includes:

- HIPS with improved environmental stress crack resistance

- High gloss HIPS

- HIPS for injection

- GPPS

These products are available in Europe, North America and Asia, making Total Petrochemicals a global partner for refrigerator producers.

Based on its extensive experience as a world leader in polystyrene manufacturing, the company launched its European activities in the refrigeration sector just 2 years ago starting with a partnership with one of the main refrigerator producers. This strengthened Total’s global activities building on a strong position in North America and high growth rates in Asia where Total Petrochemicals is currently doubling the capacityof its polystyrene plant in Foshan (Gouangzhou province, China) in order to meet the growing local demand.
