New alliance strengthens Promens in South Eastern Europe

Promens Components Division has entered into a co-operation agreement with the Romanian company Chimica for production of injection moulded parts. The aim of the agreement is to accelerate the development of Promens’ activities in South Eastern Europe.

Chimica is located in Orastie in central Romania. The company is ISO 16949 certified and has a modern machine park of 48 injection moulding machines with clamping force ranging from 40 to 1400 tons. They also have an in-house tooling facility capable of making tools up to 20 tons.

Approximately 75% of the facilities production is for the automotive sector and the remaining 25% are e.g. white goods. Examples of current product portfolio are e.g. interior parts such as middle consoles and pillar trims, exterior parts such as wheel covers and a variety of black functional under the bonnet parts.
